Happy Mother's Day to all you mothers out there. I hope you enjoy being thought of and loved this special day. In honor of today I am blogging about a little conversation I had in my classroom on Friday. We were talking about Mother's Day and making some special cards for the students to bring home to their mothers when one of my students raised his hand. It went like this:
I see a hand up.
"Yes, so and so?"
"Miss B, I think I know why God made Mother's Day."
"Really, why?"
"Because mothers are so kind and tender it's a special day for them."
I thought it was awfully funny.

awww how sweet.
Can't imagine who would have said this! Kinda like "I didn't know 5 people could make such wonderful, beautiful music!"
When you came and played with your family for my music class!!!
Deb, You're right on. :)
I know why God made Mother's Day. To get people ready for the real event. . . Father's Day!
Sorry! Couldn't resist! ;-)
